Saturday, December 1, 2007 through March 1, 2008-"Snowville" at Edventure-
Snowville is bigger and better this winter!  Enter a make-believe world of imaginative play when you visit a seven-foot polar bear in the North Pole, learn about the penguins of the South Pole, get creative in a new igloo-building activity and discover more about the science of snow and ice.  Snowville will span two floors this winter – you can go upstairs to visit the new North Pole area, and then come downstairs to explore the new South Pole activities.

  • Crawl through an ice tunnel and slide down a snowy hill
  • Strap on some carpet skates and play a game of ice hockey in Big Ed’s Arena
  • Toss some snowballs in the Frigid Forest
  • Go ice-fishing in Gotta Fish! 
  • Take a joy ride on a musical snowmobile
  • Bake some pretend muffins inside the cozy Snowed Inn
  • And catch a snowflake on your nose as a blast of cold air swirls around you

Mommy & Me Play and Pray Group

 When: Every Friday.

Where: Cedar Creek Baptist Church 

What: A playgroup that is structured and lasts 2 1/2 hours long with toys, paint, play dough, crafts, story time, pre-school age songs, snack time, outdoor play and at the end some prayer time. 

Vision: To bring Moms or Dads together with their children in a pre-school type environment to have fun together while getting to know other parents in the community - In an effort to fellowship and socialize our kids and ourselves in a safe, fun and spiritually encouraging environment.
