Aliens (PG) http://www.thebigmo.com/ MOPS (Moms of Preschoolers) MOPS helps moms through relationships established in the context of local groups that provide a caring atmosphere for today's mother of young children. MOPS also encourages and supports moms through resources such as books, this website and the MOPS International Membership. The meetings are held at South Aiken Presbyterian Church (located 1711 Whiskey Rd) on the second Tuesday of each month and start at 6:15, which is social time until 6:30, then the meeting includes ice-breakers, a speaker or curriculum segment, sometimes craft/activity, and discussion group.  The cost is approx. $23.95 for the national fee, plus another $15 for local.  Free childcare is provided as long as you RSVP by the Friday before.   Mommy & Me Play and Pray Group  When: Every Friday. Where: Cedar Creek Baptist Church  What: A playgroup that is structured and lasts 2 1/2 hours long with toys, paint, play dough, crafts, story time, pre-school age songs, snack time, outdoor play and at the end some prayer time.  Vision: To bring Moms or Dads together with their children in a pre-school type environment to have fun together while getting to know other parents in the community - In an effort to fellowship and socialize our kids and ourselves in a safe, fun and spiritually encouraging environment.  This will be a weekly playgroup that is free to the public.
